March 1-Colorado SAT and PSAT Coordinator and Proctor Training available:
Online training for school testing staff opens on March 1:
The online Test Administration Training has been updated for 2023 to cover how to plan for the test, administer the test, and return the test materials, including any changes from previous years. New this year, training will be accessible via the links below and a College Board account is NOT required to access the training.
Online training is required for:
· All test coordinators, including those who have taken the training in the past
· All backup coordinators, including those who have taken the training in the past
· All SSD coordinators, including those who have taken the training in the past
Test coordinators, backup coordinators, and SSD coordinators must complete online training no later than March 22, 2023.
Proctors are required to complete training, but there are two options for this training: they can take the online Proctor training, or the Test Coordinator can lead an in-person training session for the school’s Proctors (deck for this training attached). Regardless of the training mode used, all Proctors must complete the quiz at the end of the online Proctor course no later than April 5, 2023.
Online training is optional for other test day staff. All testing staff must complete training every year, but schools can determine the best way to train other test day staff, including hall and room monitors. For staff assigned to these additional roles, the school may choose to have them complete the online Proctor training, or the school can use the Hall and Room Monitor training presentation slides available in the Colorado Resource Repository to train them locally (deck also attached). All staff must be trained no later than April 5, 2023.
