Preparing Your Test Administrators to Administer the Test:

• ELA Materials Collections

• Math Materials Collections

Designate Testing Location:

• Quiet area

• Clear from distractions

  • Students are not to be tested in a room with other students

• Arrange the testing device so the display is only accessible to the student being assessed

• Set up accessibility devices as needed

• Set up a table to support the test booklet and task manipulatives for science

• Stage materials as needed

Prepare Materials:

• Consult the TIP for ELA and Math administrations

• Gather materials

• Prepare task manipulatives for Science

• Provide substitutions or modifications as needed and allowable

• Substitute as needed and allowed

Evaluate Student Behavior:

• Be flexible to meet student needs  

  • Use your professional judgement to reschedule based upon student behavior

  • Use your professional judgement to determine when to reschedule

• Allow breaks, as needed

  • When the student gets tired

  • When the student gets distracted
