Career Connect

The "Career Connect" career exploration program is being planned for April.  Career Connect allows students to explore future careers.  Employers host hands-on, informative sessions at their place of business for between 10-25 students.  Can two hours change a student's life?  The program is in it's seventh year and we have heard many success stories of students who found their future careers in this program.  For more information on Career Connect, visit www.dcefcolorado.org.  This year's employers include United Airlines, IKEA, Lockheed Martin, Marriott, and many more.  A more detailed schedule will be available in March.

Trips to College Campuses

DCSD will be sponsoring a trip to Pickens Technical College on Thursday, March 2.  Please stop by the counseling office to pick up a permission form.  The cost is $10.  We will leave HRHS at 8:15 and return at about 12:15.  Signed permission forms are due to the counseling office by February 28. Space is limited, so sign up soon!

We will also be having a trip to Arapahoe Community College in April. Stay tuned for more information!
