experience
I began my teaching career in Rowan County teaching 8th grade English and Social Studies. Then, I worked in Forsyth County teaching all subjects in 4th grade. This is my 6th year teaching at William R. Davie.
teaching philosophy
Every student is special in their own way. I believe in building relationships with students based on mutual trust, understanding, and respect. I establish high expectations for my students in the beginning and hold them accountable for their work ethic and actions. All students are capable of success based on their strengths.
