Welcome to Davie High Schools Automotive website, I am Seth James the automotive instructor. Just a little about myself, I graduated from Davie High School in 2003, I have been working in the automotive industry since I was 16 years old. I started in high school with automotive class aligned with an apprenticeship; I was working for Ford Motor Company. When I graduated high school I had 3 years of automotive training, went to Universal Technical Institute and graduated with Ford Accelerated Credential Training, went to work full time for Ford Motor Company for 8 years, I left Ford for Carolina Tractor which is a Caterpillar dealership,I worked there for 4 years and left to come to Davie County to teach automotive. I am currently ASE certified in Automotive Brakes & Electrical, Heavy Duty Diesel electrical and electronics & diesel engines.
