Students are given two grades in physical education. One grade is for participation, effort and classroom behavior. The other grade is for demonstrating an understanding of physical education content standards for their grade level.
Criteria for behavior:
1 - Never (rarely) - The student does not meet the expectations.
2 - Some of the time - The student meets the expectation some of the time.
3- Most of the time - The student meets the expectations most of the time.
4- Always - The student always meets the expectations.
Criteria for physical education content standards.
1. Below Standards - The student is working below grade level standards for content taught during this period of time.
2. Approaching Standards - The student is approaching grade level standards for content taught during this time.
3. Met Standards - The student met grade level standards for content taught during this period of time.
4. Exceeded Standards - The student exceeded grade level standards for content taught during this period of time.
