BODE VISITS
Students at Hayestown Avenue School enjoyed some time
with Mrs. Tulloch  and her reading therapy dog Bode. Mrs. Fernandes read Moose! The Reading Dog, a children's book inspired by the true story of a therapy dog. Moose
shares his story about finding his forever home and learning
how to become a registered therapy dog. Moose reflects
on his journey and describes his love for helping children
become better readers. Students learned about hard work
and the importance of finding and pursuing one’s dream. Information about the book can be found at http://www.thepress.purdue.edu/titles/format/9781557538130
Bode is from Roar (Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue) Pet therapy program.
