VEX IQ ROBOTICS
OUR STEM Robotics teams are growing! In fact, STEM Robotics has grown to become the fastest and strongest program within the STEM Academy. Our teams of very dedicated and passionate students have displayed persistence and tenacity during the tournaments. We had a WONDERFUL experience going to Iowa for Create US Open and to Kentucky for VEX Worlds Championship in 2019. We would have gone to both of them again in 2020 and 2021 if it wasn't for the Pandemic. But it's okay!
We did great in the 2020-2021 Competition Season with all three of our teams winning STATE Championship and Qualifying for VEX Worlds. We also had a team WIN the Innovate Award at VEX Worlds and receive multiple recognitions, including the HUB, DISD Board, NBC News, and REC Foundation.
We are so excited and ready for the 2021-2022 Competition Season! This time, with 4 competing teams!!!

Team 505 C - RoboChamps - Design Award, Innovate Award at STATE Championship (Qualified for VEX Worlds)
Team 505 H - RoboKnights - Design Award, Skills 2nd Place, Teamwork 2nd Place (x2), Design Award at STATE Championship (Qualified for VEX Worlds), Judging Finalist at VEX Worlds, Teamwork 2nd Place during VEX Worlds Division Finals
Team 505 B - RoboBeasts - Teamwork Champion, Design Award , Skills Champion, Excellence Award at STATE Championship (Qualified for VEX Worlds), Judging Finalist at VEX Worlds, Teamwork 2nd Place during VEX Worlds Division Finals, Innovate Award Winner at VEX Worlds!!!
TOTAL = 12 trophies
All 3 teams are STATE CHAMPIONS and qualified for VEX Robotics World Championship
