Diversity Program Opportunities at Nearby Law Schools

1) The University at Buffalo is now accepting applications for its Discover Law Program. The 2021 program dates are May 30 to June 25. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Completed applications will be reviewed for selection immediately after the application deadline. The application deadline is Wednesday, March 31, 2021. This program is at no cost to participants. It is intended for undergraduates who have completed their freshman or sophomore year, but who will not commence their junior year before the end of the program, and are underrepresented minority students, or first generation college students. 2) Memphis Law is hosting a diversity pre law week that has free registration, "STILL I RISE: ELEVATING DIVERSITY IN THE LEGAL PROFESSION & BEYOND" You can learn more and register here:  https://www.memphis.edu/law/events/diversityprelawday.php.

Memphis Law school is also hosting a summer program for 1st and 2nd undergraduate students for a month long (virtual) PLUS and LSAT preparation course that has a $1000 stipend upon completion. The program runs June 7th through July 9th from 9 am-5 pm (CST). Students must be available each day of the program to participate.
