About Me

I am Ashley Lichter ("Ms. Ashley"), one of the  speech language pathologists (SLPs) at Jefferson Early Childhood Center. This school year, I will be seeing kids for itinerant speech services ("speech only") and screening/evaluating students with speech/language concerns.  I have been an SLP in District 64 since 2014, when I began working as part of the Early Childhood Diagnostic Team.  Since then I have also served as an SLP in various roles, including the Private-Parochial School Team, as well as at Washington, Carpenter, & Field Elementary Schools.

As an SLP at Jefferson Early Childhood Center, I provide speech and language therapy to students who receive itinerant (speech only) IEP/ISP services.   For more information about me and our therapy, please explore the links above.  Feel free to explore my virtual living room to learn more about me, as well!

Outside of school, I love to spend my time doing/teaching yoga & going for walks or to the dog park with my family and our puppy, Koopa.  Last year, we expanded our family, welcoming my youngest, Calvin to our family. Yvette & Koopa are in love.  Pink, blue, and glitter are my favorite colors.  Coraline is my favorite movie.  Green Hat Blue Hat is my favorite book.
