1. If you have a different from your normal transportation schedule for your child, PLEASE send in a dated and signed note with your child. Emails are also a great way to communicate a change in dismissal, but if I am not at school, I may not receive the email, so notes or a call to the office is the best way to let me know.
2. Remember that all children go outdoors for a 30-minute recess daily. Please make sure that your child is appropriately dressed. In the winter, be sure to label your child’s outdoor wear. Items often get lost during this season! The only times we do not go outside is if the weather is rainy and too cold (below zero). Otherwise, we are outside, having a BLAST!
3. If you are visiting our classroom, even if it is on a regular basis, please stop by the office to sign in and receive a visitor’s badge.
4. Please send in a small, healthy nut-free snack (vegetables, crackers, yogurt, nut-free granola bars, fruit) and water bottle each day for your child.
(please no cookies, fruit snacks, candy)
5. I am asking that no toys be brought to school from home. Our classroom is filled with items to keep us busy and lost/broken toys can result in very sad feelings. Special items can be brought to school during your child’s "Forest Ranger" week.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
