Cougars Care

Cougars Care is Coronado's way of helping our community.  We partner with our students to make sure that no student is exempted from any part of their education based on tangible need.  

Cougars Care Highlights

• 19 Years of longevity

• Over 400 students receive clothing in each of our clothing exchanges

• We distribute over 100 boxes of food to families for Thanksgiving

• Student Led Board of Directors 

• We established a class called Leadership for Non-Profits that leads to Social Impact Certification

• We contribute over $2500 in scholarships to graduating seniors each year

• We provide over a dozen caps and gowns for Coronado graduates

• We provide over 100 backpacks with school supplies to students at Coronado each year

• We provide $2000 worth of snacks to students to combat hunger each year

• Supported students with over $1000 in class fees and field trip fees 

• Over 300 volunteers (mostly students) helped to make all this possible
