Fundamental Goal:
Our mission is to use age appropriate physical activities to help each child achieve a better understanding of; motor skills, critical thinking, respect and responsibility for self and others in a safe and health-promoting environment. Our students will participate in a number of activities that will encourage lifelong fitness.
Philosophy:
Physical education is a very important part of a child’s life. Physical education helps teach about the importance of lifelong fitness and it helps the child develop many of the skills that are needed in the world today. Each student should learn how their body works and be able to move competently and confidently as a result of direct and indirect teaching techniques. The student will develop an appreciation and acceptance of all activities that are taught will hopefully teach an understanding of the importance of lifelong fitness and health.
Class Time:
Kindergarten – One day a week for 30 minutes
1st – 5th grades – Three days per week for 30 minutes
