Creative Design

Creative Design is part of the 7th grade Exploratory program. This one quarter class introduces students to the problem solving process through a series of short and long-term design problems. These design problems will introduce students to the fields of Engineering, Architecture, Product Design and Drafting.

COURSE CONTENT: Long-term problems will include a Modular Toothpick Structural Design, CD Vehicle Structural Design and Dream House Floor Plan and Model. Short-term problems will include problem solving games, sequence puzzles, word puzzles and other challenges.

If students like this class, they can sign-up for Advanced Creative Design, Wood Technology, or Exploring Computer Science for their 8th grade elective. Sing-ups are usually in early March.
