using this interactive 3D simulation. An actual earthquake will always create Primary, Secondary, and Surface waves, using this

EARTHQUAKE ANSWERS

EXTRA CREDIT SECTION

ONLINE EXTRA CREDIT: VIRTUAL COURSEWARE - This is exactly what we did in class. When you get to the first page select ANY other

earthquake epicenter BESIDES San Francisco. Then, follow the prompts to the end (finding LAG time, Distance, Epicenter, Amplitude,

and Magnitude). Once done, you will get to create a certificate. Fill out the correct information (don't worry about emailing to

me) and PRINT the page. Get a PARENT SIGNATURE and you're all set.

ONLINE EXTRA CREDIT: VIRTUAL COURSEWARE - This page was not fully working when I last

checked. If it works for you, then I encourage you to do THIS one. When you get to the opening page,

just click on the "Epicenter and Magnitude" link under Main Activities. Once

that comes up, click on "Start Activity" and follow all the steps carefully. At the end,

take the quiz. USE THIS CODE AT THE END: 465494 and print off your certificate of proof.
