Birthdays

We celebrate every child's birthday (unless instructed otherwise by the parents) in the classroom. They receive a birthday crown, a birthday bracelet, and we all sing the Happy Birthday song for the child. Due to our district's wellness policy (and food allergies), I would appreciate you not bringing any edible items. Thank you!

You are welcome to bring goody bags for all students (we have 19 students), consisting of small items like pencils, erasers, stickers, small toys, etc. Your child will distribute the goody bags to the kids. Please don't feel compelled to send anything unless you wish to! If your child has a summer birthday, we will celebrate his/her birthday during the last week of school. I will let you know a date in advance.
