Parents often ask about a good resource for English spelling. Uncovering the Logic of English - A Common-Sense Approach to Reading, Spelling, and Literacy is a great resource for phonics for parents. It is terrific for native and non-native English speakers alike. The book is concise (less than 200 pages) and very clear. It has a companion quick reference laminated foldout.
