Dear Students and Parents of Room 13,
My name is Charity Ochoa, and I would like to welcome you to third grade! I am excited to be working with you this school year! I feel fortunate to be teaching at Sedgwick as it is a school that merges learning with intrinsic motivation, building character, and community events. A fun fact about me is that I grew up in this district! My elementary school was Regnart, and I went on to Kennedy Middle School and to Monta Vista High School. I moved to Orange County to attend UC Irvine, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Social Behavior, minoring in Education. Shortly after, I moved back to the Bay Area and received my teaching credential from Santa Clara University.
Aside from teaching, I enjoy a variety of other activities. I love exploring new places, trying new food, watching movies, and spending time outdoors with my husband and daughters, Isla and Estelle.
I can't wait to find out more about all of you!
Mrs. Ochoa
