Mrs. Alex Severino is a band director in the Community Unit School District 200 in Wheaton, Illinois. She teaches 5th grade band at Bower, Madison, Lincoln, Whittier, and Wiesbrook elementary schools. This is her third year as a teacher and her second year as a band director.

Alex received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from Illinois State University in 2023. During her time there, she was a member of the Wind Symphony for four years, serving as Principal Oboe for three years, and participated in the Big Red Marching Machine, where she played saxophone her first year and was a Drum Major for three years.

Alex is a 2019 graduate of John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois. She got married this past summer; her husband is also a band director. Together, they have a Shiba Inu puppy named Koda.
