Calculus

Course Description

Calculus is the mathematics of motion and change. This two-semester course is designed to review functions and their characteristics and to introduce the student to the basic concepts of differential and integral calculus. Topics covered will include slopes of curves, limits, continuity, methods of taking derivatives, curve sketching, maxima and minima problems, definite integrals, indefinite integrals, area, volumes, and methods of integration.

Prerequisite: Passing grade in Advanced Mathematics or Equivalent
