Raptor Alert Information
We partnered with the Town to roll this system out to all town buildings in Cumberland and would like to complete testing here at our schools.
After we resolve any issues with accounts we will be working with your buildings to assist with any other usage questions that arise. There are many other features available in Raptor such as the mobile accountability feature that can help with student attendance in the event of an evacuation. Please review the material below that will answer many of your questions.
Do I have to log into Raptor EM Alert?
Yes. If you have not done so already, please review the material below and go to apps.raptortech.com to set up your account for the first time.
Do I have to put the Raptor EM Alert mobile app on my personal cell phone?
No. You can use Raptor Alert on a Chromebook, laptop or desktop if you’d rather not put it on your personal cell phone. We would like teachers to download the mobile app for more flexible use and quicker response time, but please use what you are more comfortable with now.
If you are having any issues logging into the Raptor Alert app on your school issued device or your personal cell phone please send in an IT Work Request Ticket.
What does Account Setup mean and how do I log in?
Username: You will be using your school email account to log into the system. The first time you log in the system will redirect you to a Google Permissions page.
Raptor Alert:
There are several optional features during the onboarding process in the app – Amber Alert, notifications, messaging and sharing location while using the app
Web:
The first time you log in (apps.raptortech.com) you will be asked to select the school(s) where you need to receive alerts for drills and emergencies. Please only select the schools you actually work in.
