After completing my undergraduate studies in Christianity and Culture at St. Michael's College in the University of Toronto, I did a licentiate in philosophy at The Catholic University of America, a doctorate in philosophy at the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a doctorate in theology at Boston College. I've had three research stints in Germany: two in Cologne and one in Leipzig. I taught for two years at St Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, and then I came to CUA, where I've been ever since.
I have a wife, children, and grandchildren.
I like backpacking, birding, and singing (but not all at the same time).
