Andrew E. Reardon Scholarship

A $1000 scholarship will be given to students attending UMD, or an East High School Senior planning on attending UMD or St. Scholastica, and studying medicine.

1. A letter of request showing financial need and stating why you would like to be considered for the scholarship.

2. Your civic/volunteer activities.

3. Show satisfactory academic achievement, preferably 3.0 or above.

4. Involvement in Key Club or Circle K, or parental involvement in Kiwanis.

5. Any other information that will help the committee to decide.

2 - $1000 scholarships are available to be awarded to 2 individuals. Scholarship winner must be attending either St. Scholistica, UMD, Lake Superior Collage, or a East High School Key Club member, or a home school student.

Applicants need to write a letter stating their background, history of civic/volunteer service, extra curricular activities and academic achievement.

CRITERIA:

1. Demonstrate a history of civic/voluntary service.

2. Academic achievement, preferably 3.0 GPA or above.

3. Preference given to a High School Key Club member Circle K Club member.

PROCEDURE:

Applicants need to write a letter stating their background, history of civic/volunteer service, extra-curricular activities and academic achievement.
