General Circulation and Reserve Section
The General Circulation and Reserve Section contains the bulk of the library collection including books on computer science, history, psychology, social science, engineering, nursing, education, and other allied fields.
Filipiniana Section and Local History Collection
This Section houses a collection of publications about the Philippines regardless of author and imprint, works written by Filipinos and books written in the Filipino language.
Graduate Studies and Reference Section
This Section is located at the 2nd floor of the University Library. It houses the collection of books useful to educators, teachers and would-be teachers, librarians, executives and managers in the field of business.
Periodicals Section
Located at the 2nd floor of the University Library, the Periodicals Section holds current and back issues of selected newspapers, magazines, journals, newsletters, official publications, brochures, and souvenir programs published locally and internationally. It also contains the vertical file collection made up primarily of pamphlets and news clippings. Searching for materials in the collection is facilitated by the Periodical Index.
Multimedia Center
The Multimedia Center houses the collection of audiovisual and other non-print resources of the library such as audio and video tapes and recordings, and multimedia sources in CD-ROM. In addition, an array of audiovisual projection equipment and services are available. Scheduling of audiovisual facilities such as Little Theater and Audiovisual Room is handled by the Center.

Institutional Archives
The Institutional Archives collects, preserves and organizes materials that showcase the development of the Catanduanes State University as the only comprehensive higher education institution in the province. These may include official records, manuscripts, administrative papers, publications, photographs and memorabilia.
