Procedures:
Students will enter the room quietly, put their phones in their backpacks, backpacks will be placed by the door, and start on their warm-up.
The lesson will continue with notes followed by an activity/assignment and exit ticket for students to further their learning.
Students who finish their work early, may work on missing work or homework.
Homework:
Homework will be assigned every week. Students will have access to their homework on the last day of the week. It will be due at the beginning of class on the last day of the following week.
I do not accept late homework
Failed Test:
Students will be provided a mini-lesson and a retest. The highest possible score on a retest is 70%
ASSIGNMENTS/GRADES:
Students will have a warm-up, assignment, and exit ticket to turn in for me almost every day.
There is also a PDF version of the assignment. Students need to upload the PDF to Notability, so they will be able to work out the problems. Once they complete the assignment in Notability, they will transfer their answers to the assignment AND attach the work they did to solve the problems on the assignment. Failure to attach the work indicates they did not solve the problems which will result in a grade no higher than 50%.
Late Assignments:
Warm-ups, assignments, and exit tickets are due the SAME DAY they are assigned. If it is not turned in on the same day, a zero will go in the grade book. Late assignments will be 20 points off per day and close after 3 days and I will no longer accept the assignment.
Grades:
Tests 50%
Daily/Homework 50%
Absent:
Students will have access to a video lesson and/or tutorials to get caught up. Assignments will be posted in Schoology.
