Centre for Human Resource Development (CHRD) and BPO Academy:

The department has the classic history of running BUAckLab, a joint venture of The University of Burdwan and Acclaris Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata. to offer unique job opportunities to the students of the Department and the Department of Economics under its Centre for Human Resource Development (CHRD) programme.

NSE Course on Capital Market Professional:

Recently the Department has taken another initiative to start a short term course, NSE certified Capital Market Professional (NCCMP), in collaboration with National Stock Exchange (NSE). An MOU between Burdwan University and NSE has recently been signed and the course is likely to start from February/ March, 2013.
