ALL feelings are okay, I'm allowed to feel however I am feeling. There are no "good" or "bad" feelings, but some feelings are more comfortable than others.
I can practice listening to my body for clues about how I'm feeling and what I need. I pay attention to the sensations in my stomach, muscles, heartbeat, breathing, face, and more. This helps me name my feeling, and figure out what I need. I can use my chill skills when I need to- I am in control of me!
What we think to ourselves makes a big difference in how we feel. When I think to myself in a kind, calm way, it helps me feel more confident and relaxed. Practice being a good friend to yourself with positive self-talk!
Mindfulness means paying full attention to something. It means slowing down to really notice what you're doing.
