2017/18 Marching Show

We are proud to announce the 2017-2018 Columbia band Marching show. we will be performing a show entitled "DeComposers: Music Never Dies". This show is entirely based on the music of Mozart and Beethoven. The staff spent a very long time deciding which show to choose and decided this was the best suited for our band and community. Even so, we have still decided to change the original concept. The concept was altered to help convey the intended message. The message we seek to share is that music has the power to transcend time. Even though Mozart and Beethoven have been dead for hundreds of years, their music is still loved and is changing lives today. Through their music they influence us today and because of this, their legacy lives on. These composers may have passed, but the music they wrote has not. This is the message we will endeavor to share. Music Never Dies.
Please keep in mind we will be removing the sound effects from this recording to help alter the concept. This is also a MIDI recording. This means all instrumental sounds are electronically generated, not played by live ensemble.
