Data
The SCAPE Project collects data in partnership with Schools by way of Environmental Science courses and other Living Classroom projects. The data is then analyzed throughout the SCAPE Curriculum, using a variety of online analytical tools.
Publicly accessible data is linked below along with instructions. Analysis results can be seen on the Partner Schools pages.
If you are a SCAPE partner and have a @ColoradoRiverScape.org account, please log in and proceed below to begin uploading, downloading, and analyzing data; to receive an account please see the Getting Started page.
After you have collected your own field data, you can submit your data points to SCAPE using the appropriate Field Assessment Google Form below. These same forms are linked in the context of each applicable SCAPE lesson. You can also print the forms for offline data collection and upload at a later date (a SCAPE Water Quality Field App for your smart phone is under development):
If you have accompanying assets (images or additional documentation), please include them in the online form.
SCAPE Field data is publicly accessible to download from Google Sheets, but you may need to manipulate and analyze a copy of this data on your own, separate from the public data set.
Using this link will create a new Google Sheet that automatically imports a copy of SCAPE Public Field data. Name this new Sheet and save it in a convenient location for your class. Any time this Sheet loads, it will pull fresh data from the SCAPE public data set for you to analyze.
