About the English Team

The Colgate Equestrian team is a highly competitive member of Zone II Region III of the IHSA (Intercollegiate Horse Show Association).

The English team is coached by Jo Stephenson and practices twice a week at Whispering Hill Equestrian Center in Cazenovia, NY (about 25 minutes from campus!). Lessons are an hour long and there are usually three to four people in each lesson. Riders carpool to lessons so not everyone needs a car! 

The English Team shows eight times a year at Hartwick, Morrisville, and Skidmore. There are opportunities for beginner riders through advanced riders to compete for team points, and for individual points.
