Additional License Requirements
FOR SCHOOL NURSES, ASSOCIATE SCHOOL NURSES, PE TEACHERS, HEALTH EDUCATORS,
DRIVER ED INSTRUCTORS AND SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS
DRIVER ED INSTRUCTORS AND SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS
All School Nurses and Associate School Nurses need to submit with their renewal application:
Copy of a valid Vermont RN License
Copy of a valid CPR-AED card (includes First Aid certification)
All PE endorsed educators:
Copy of a valid CPR-AED card
Copy of a valid First Aid card
All Educators with a Health Education:
Copy of a valid CPR-AED card
Copy of a valid First Aid card
All Driver Education Instructors:
Copy of certified Vermont DMV Complete Driving History

Box the educator will need to check: Certified copy of complete operating record (Vermont only) – $20.00

All Speech-Language Pathologists:
Copy of Valid Vermont Clinical SLP License (issued through Secretary of State's Office - OPR)
All Educational SLP Level II licenses (6-84) must complete 90 hours of professional learning:
(30) hours can come from your current ASHA certification aligned with the 6-84 endorsement competencies, plus
(60) hours of additional professional learning
Educators that have worked under the 6-84 endorsement for three or more years in a Vermont school must transition to a Level II license.
