How do you know if a website is providing accurate, up-to-date, non-biased information? To answer that question, you must evaluate the site.
To Evaluate the Website, use the CARS Website Evaluation Method
C: Credibility - A Trustworthy source. Look at author's credentials and publisher. Source authority should be a respected organization
A: Accuracy - Up-to-date, factual, and detailed. Look for a source that presents the whole truth
R: Reasonableness - Balanced, fair, objective. Look for a source that is contains no bias or no slanted tones
S: Support - Lists sources, contact information, and provides evidence for statements in article. You should be able to triangulate the information (find at least two other sources that support the information)

Triangulate Sources - Multiple sources are needed to show validity of information. Use two or more sources to verify the facts one source shared. Think 3's. If 3 sources are sharing the same information, the information is verified.
