ABC Mouse has ebooks, read-aloud books, activities, and games for toddlers through grade 2.
For K1-grade 2, students have free home accounts through Codman. Ask your classroom teacher for your free home access code, or email kfunderburk@codmanacademy.org.
The Internet Archive is a HUGE digital collection of books, maps, articles, images, and sound and video recordings. Books that are in the public domain are available without an account. Go to https://archive.org to view the collection.
If a book requires an account, it is free to get one. Go to https://archive.org/account/ to get started.

ReadingIQ has ebooks for preschool through grade 6.

If a student has a severe vision impairment (20/200 or worse), has a physical condition that makes holding a book difficult, or has a physical disability which prevents them from reading standard print, they may be eligible to access ebooks, audiobooks, Braille, and large-print books from the Perkins Library. To find out if you or your child is eligible, email kfunderburk@codmanacademy.org or one of our special education staff.
Provides access to thousands of children's and young adult books. Titles are divided into Early Grades, Middle Grades, and High School, and further divided within each group by genre.
This resource is available as an app or on a web browser. To access this resource, download the free Open eBooks app or go to https://openebooks.net/, select "Sign in with First Book," then enter your Access Code and PIN.

Biblioboard is similar to the Internet Archive in content, but you can read all titles online without an account. Go to https://library.biblioboard.com/home and click on "Biblioboard Open Access."

The Library of Congress has several online collections of ebook editions of rare books, e-journal articles, digitized historical documents, sheet music, artwork, and more. Go to https://guides.loc.gov/e-books/library-congress, or download the app LOC Collections
Some of our students have access to Bookshare. Bookshare is a government initiative that makes ebooks with read-aloud text and dyslexic-friendly features to the general public. Students must have an IEP or 504 plan designating a learning, physical, or visual disability that interferes with the individual's ability to read print.
