Camp Information

Camp Location and Amenities

This year we are relocating to the Three Meadows Group Camp, located three and half miles inside Dworshak State Park. (Note that Three Meadows is in the Pacific Time Zone.) This is a gorgeous lakeside setting deep in the wilderness of central Idaho.

This group campsite has four boys' cabins and four girls' cabins, modern washrooms, a full commercial kitchen and dining area, and plenty of recreational activities: volleyball, basketball, kickball/softball, hiking, disc golf, archery, a group bonfire area, an outdoor amphitheater with projection screen, and multi-purpose field for all sorts of activities. We will have private access to the Dworshak Reservoir by a dock that will provide new opportunities this year for swimming, fishing, and possibly boating.

As always, camp will consist of lots of fun! Every day will have games, songs, Bible studies, crafts, more games, meals, chores, and free time in the beautiful outdoors, deepening our faith and making memories that will last a lifetime--and beyond!

Camp Schedule

Sunday, August 4 at 4:00 pm (Pacific Daylight Time) through Friday, August 9, at 11:00 am (Pacific Daylight Time). For insurance reasons, early arrivals are not allowed.

Camper registration/check-in runs 4:00-6:00 pm on Sunday, August 4; if a camper cannot arrive by 6:00 pm please notify camp leaders ahead of time.

Camper check-out is 11:00 am on Friday, August 9. Please make arrangements to pick up your camper(s) promptly. Parents/drivers may arrive at camp before 11:00 am.

Camp Enrollment

Camp enrollment is open to youth ages 9-16 from all WELS/ELS congregations. Other youth are welcome to attend provided they have approval from their local WELS/ELS pastor and a spot is available.

Camp Staff

Camp staff -- including the director, activity leaders, Bible study leaders, kitchen staff, nurse/medic, and camp counselors -- are all volunteers and members of WELS/ELS congregations, most from the Pacific Northwest.

Note for potential camp staff:

While the cabins are new and clean, there are not any private cabins available for staff this year as there have been in the past, so we ask our staff to have patience & flexibility for this change. You are very welcome to bring a tent or RV/camper (limited spots) if you would like private sleeping accommodations! Otherwise you will need to share a larger bunkhouse with other staff of your gender.
