Use this link to access student connect each day at the start of class. It is your responsibility to track your grades, look for missing assignments, and report any possible errors. (Data entry errors do happen from time to time, so check your scores carefully!) I will do my part to keep the information as up-to-date as possible, so look for changes on a daily basis.
This link is for you. This tool will connect you to a variety of valuable information. Log in here to access your child's grades (in all classes), attendance, and more. I recommend reviewing parent connect at least once every two weeks, or better yet, signing up for the automatic email notifications in order to avoid any unpleasant surprises at the end of the grading period. Here is a tutorial video explaining how to sign up for regular email notifications from Parent Connection/Q.
*If you do not know your password or need assistance logging in, please contact the ASI front office as, unfortunately, I do not have access to this information.
It is important for students to understand that there is typically a range of quality in work. While meeting the minimum requirements will most likely earn you a passing grade, it is not usually going to earn you an above-average grade like an A or B. If you are someone who is striving for higher grades, then you will need to go above and beyond the minimum requirements. This typically means that you should write longer, more in-depth responses. If there is a specified range of acceptability, aim for the high end of the range, not the low end. Pay attention to details like spelling, grammar, and conventions and limit your mistakes.
If you are ever unsure what "excellent" or "outstanding" work would look like for a particular assignment or assessment, just ask. I will be glad to help point you in the right direction.
