Hello All,
I am Mrs. Wiens-Wice, but most of the time I go by Mrs. W. This is my 2nd year at Sashabaw Middle School, 5th year at Clarkston Community Schools, and my 13th year of full-time teaching overall.
I received my secondary teaching degree from Saginaw Valley State University, with a major in Physical Education, Health, and Recreation, and a certified teaching minor in Biology. While at SVSU I was a member of the Cross Country team, Track and Field team, Womenś Club Lacrosse, founding member of Kappa Tau Epsilon sorority, PE majors/minor club member, PE major of the year award recipient, 3-time homecoming powder puff football champ, and Deanś List award recipient.
After SVSU, I began teaching, and I attended the University of Michigan for my Masters in Educational Technology. As I continued my professional teaching career I also continued my education and went back to U of M and earned my Educational Specialist degree (Ed.S).
In my free time, I have coached cross country, track and field, coached crossfit, and taught swim lessons. I enjoy reading, cuddle time with my fur babies, working out (running, swimming, lifting, obstacle course races, etc), and spending time with my husband and family.
