Kristin Locke
SMS Media Specialist
This is my 13th year as the Media Specialist at Sashabaw Middle School. I am also the Media Specialist at Clarkston Junior High School and Clarkston High School. I worked as a public librarian before that and as a 7th and 8th grade Language Arts teacher in another district before that.
I have been married to my husband, Ian, for 23 years. We have two wonderful children, Abby (18) and Kenny (14). We like to do all kinds of family activities including camping, bike riding, and playing games.
I received my degree in Education from Michigan State University (GO GREEN!) and my master's degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University.
I love sports and am an avid follower of the local Michigan sports teams. I like to read, run, listen to music, and play music if I ever have any spare time.
