About the Teacher
This is my fourrteenth year teaching second grade at the Cardinal John Foley Regional Catholic School! I am so grateful to be a part of this great school family!
I have been teaching in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for the past thirty-seven years. My teaching career began at Our Lady of Loreto School in third grade for eleven years. Then, I continued to teach third grade at Saint Barnabas Catholic School for five years. I moved to second grade at Our Lady of Perpetual Help for the next four years. Before Foley, I taught at Annunciation BVM for three years.
I grew up in Southwest Philadelphia. I attended Good Shepherd Elementary School and West Philadelphia Catholic Girls High School. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Neumann College, now Neumann University. I live in Delaware County with my husband. We have two wonderful sons and five beautiful grandsons.
I love teaching second grade because it is a special year for the students. I prepare them for the First Reception of the Sacraments of Penance and Holy Communion. I am so lucky to share that special time in their lives!
