Academic Activities

My Academic Activities are;

1. Giving a Scientific seminar on Aflatoxin B1 and mushroom extract - VIP Hall in 9/5/2019

   1. Attended and participated in biological and health sciences international conference 30/4 - 2/5/2019

2. Attended and participated in International Workshop on Scientific Writing Skills for Biomedical & Environmental Scientists, hold in Cihan University – Erbil – Kurdistan - Iraq, 2 May, 2019.

3. Attending and participating in the Hospitals Infection control workshop hold in Cihan University – Erbil – Kurdistan - Iraq, 1^st, May, 2019

4. Help my Department of Nutrition at Cihan University- Erbil to organize on 2/5/2019 Seminar for Professor Richard Handy from University of Plymouth, UK- on Food Safety and absorption of nano-material's in the digestive tract.

5. I was participated with all Nutrition Department members in the activates of scientific event and workshop in 16/10/2019, which is the international food day.

6. My students on 2 ed. stage implemented a project of Students obesity at Cihan school in 2019

7. My Students on 3 rd. stage implemented a project of Food safety and Hygiene at Cihan School Cafeteria in 2019

8. We implemented scientific trips to quality control authority labs and to food companies production lines in each semesters of 2019-2020

9. Recently I just submitted 2 articles on the Cihan University website how can we use Risk Analysis system to manage this health crisis (COVID-19)

10. My new publication on Scopus Journal is : Nogaim, et. al.,(2020). Protective effect of Yemeni green coffee powder against the oxidative stress induced by Ochratoxin A . Toxicology Reports 7 (2020)., pp- 142- 148.

11. Attended On 23/2/2020 with Nutrition department on seminar entitled how to boost immune system with diet and healthy life style

12. Participated on the meeting of scientific committee which held on Monday 23/12/2019 in nutrition Department for developing, updating and reviewing all the academic courses in all stages of the nutrition program at Cihan University - Erbil

13. Participated the largest international event on food and nutrition in the Middle East (Gulfood 2020) in United Arab Emirates – Dubai (during the period 16-20 February 2020).

14. I delivered scientific seminar on healthy food from waste (Mushroom) on 21/11/2019 .

15. Attended on seminar on 28/10/2019 in title :الجهود الدولية للتحكم في اسلحة الدمار الشامل

16. I attended on workshop in 1/12/2019 title : The World AIDS Day

17. Participated on workshop entitled (Cosmetic procedures, friend or foe) On Thursday 2/27/2020 by the General Biological Department .

18. I Participated on the first online meeting for the College of Health Technology with Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi the president of Cihan University - Erbil, On April 7th 2020.

19. Participated on workshop entitled (Acute Stroke In Young Age , Healthy Aging ) On 2/12/2020 by the General Biological Department - Cihan University - Erbil

20. I was Implemented a scientific training wokshop online for academic staff of Soran University - on (Bio-Risk Management ) - April /30/ 2020

21. I delivered scientific seminar on (Chlorogenic Acid and its Health Benefits) online 23/04/2020

22. I was successfully completed (Evidence-based Toxicology) - an online non-credit course authorized by Johns Hopkins University and offered through Coursera, May /03/ 2020.

23. I was successfully completed (Dairy Production and Management) - an online non-credit course authorized by The Pennsylvania State University and offered through Coursera, on May /04/ 2020.

24. I was successfully completed (Toxicology 21: Scientific Applications), an online non-credit course authorized by Johns Hopkins University and offered through Coursera, May /14/2020.

25. I was successfully completed (Chemicals and Health) - an online non-credit course authorized by Johns Hopkins University and offered through Coursera, May /19/ 2020.

26. I also was started teaching post-graduate Master student course of Food poisoning at Salah Uddin University in Erbil they called me to help them in this new program this year.

27. Participating and attending the training workshop on the system of blended learning at Cihan University – Erbil on 16/09/2020.

28. I was attended and participated in the organizing our international virtual workshop of (World Food Day : Food Sustainability For Healthy Diets ) Cihan University – Erbil 18 - 19/10/2020 , I was one of the speakers of this event.

29. I was attended and participated in the online event of the Holland Alumni network which organized a grand opening and 5 webinars for all Holland Alumni in the Mena region, during 30 Nov - 3 Dec 2020.
