It is my pleasure to welcome you to your new fifth grade classroom! This school year will bring many exciting adventures and new challenges. I hope that you come to school this year expecting it to be the best you could ever imagine. I am thrilled to meet all of you and learn about who you are.
I am honored to be a part of Pierre Van Cortlandt's wonderful learning community. I taught 6th grade Humanities at PVC for ten years. I currently teach ELA and Social Studies on the 5th grade team. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Literacy from Pace University. In 2017, I achieved National Board certification. I love to read and write, but I especially love spending time with my family.
