I obtained my bachelor's degree from Western Carolina University and have taught for 14 years as a high school English teacher at Chapel Hill High School and in Alamance County. I recently returned to school and obtained an advanced master's degree in school counseling at UNC-CH. In my free time, I love spending time outdoors (exercising, fishing, or trying to keep up with my eight year old daughter ...). Also, as a former English teacher, I always have a good book within reach.

I am looking forward to supporting and empowering our students this year! Let's make it a great year ...
