Grading

* For students attending Chariho Regional High School who complete a Chariho Credit Recovery course and achieve a failing quarterly grade, final quarterly course grades will be computed by averaging the quarterly grade achieved during the regular school day course with the Credit Recovery quarterly grade. Students may avail themselves of this opportunity to recover a quarterly course grade for up to one year from the date of issuance of the failing grade.

Grades cannot be turned in to Guidance until the requisite credit recovery grade has been earned:

Example:

              English 9: Quarter 4 Grade = 60

              English 9:  Credit Recovery Grade = 80

              60 + 80 = 140  / 2 = 70

              English 9 Final Quarter 4 Grade = 70
