Student Responsibilities

All equipment at School must be used responsibly and only with the direction of your teacher.

Expectations: We need Students to

• Only use an approved device
• Use the devices when instructed in a mature and responsible manner
• be responsible for ensuring their device is carried and stored safely
• Use the device in accordance with College Acceptable Use Policies. Both Parents and Students need to accept and sign both the standard College IT and also BYOD Acceptable use Policies
• Have the device fully charged at the beginning of the day. Don't assume it can be charged at school
• Keep the device updated. Both the Operating System and Apps
• Keep Antivirus & Malware software current
• Not bring devices to school that are damaged (eg. cracked screens)
• Make sure the device is stored securely in your school bag when not in use
• Not to touch or use another Students device
• Maintain a full backup of Student work / Apps

At the beginning of the year all Students and Parents will be provided with the Acceptable Use Policy and Agreement. Both Students and Parents need to read carefully and agree to the use of the device at School.
