I have always had a passion for working with children for many years. I started this career in Early Childhood by working in the Childcare Lab on the campus of Alcorn State University -1990. I have been a Sunday School teacher, Children’s Ministry director, and Children’s Worship Leader for my church for over 18 years . After graduating from Alcorn State, I started my career working for La Petite Academy in 1996.
When the opportunity to become the Child Guidance/Human Services Practicum teacher was presented to me by my father , I could not believe my good fortune. In 2006, I left my job of 10 years to become the Teacher and director for Jersey Village HIgh School. This position combines everything I love doing into one fantastic job. I get the best of both worlds everyday - working with, and hopefully inspiring high school students, as we partner together to positively impact a classroom full of amazing, little preschoolers.
