Early Learning I

This class is open to Juniors and Seniors Only.

Early Learning I: This occupationally-specific class provides students with the opportunity to instruct pre-school children, ages 3-4, in an on-campus, licensed facility. During the first six weeks, students are instructed in professionalism, child care management, safety, nutrition, health and wellness, child growth/development, guidance, careers and success at work and group and laboratory management. Beginning with the second six-weeks, students plan lessons based on weekly themes, instruct children, and participate in all aspects of managing a preschool classroom.
