2025-26 School Year Information

Counselors, please take note: 

• **Students can not be currently enrolled in the course that they're seeking credit in. Please check the student's current schedule PRIOR to referring them for testing.**

• Once the referral is submitted, remind students to start reviewing the TEKS and UT High School Study Guides early so they’re well-prepared by test day.

  • Credit by Exam Study Guides - UT High School - these are the exams we have access to.

  • World Language Assessment Language Opportunity - available language tests.

• Confirmation of Exam opportunities is sent to parents 2-3 weeks before the scheduled exam. 

• Results are sent to the parents and counselors approximately 3-4 weeks after exams are completed. 

This form is to be completed by you and only for students who have confirmed intent to take a Credit-by-Exam on the scheduled date. This includes parent consent for the student to test, when applicable.

If a student plans to take a CBE for more than one course, please submit a separate registration form for each requested subject area. During the registration process, there is an option to select the CBE for each semester or both semesters in a tested subject area. 

Prior to completing the CBE registration form, review the student's background information (name & student ID) within TEAMS to ensure accuracy in transcript reporting. Also, be mindful when inputting the parent email address! Happy parents ensure happy testing!

Elementary Students and Parents that are seeking CBE testing- Counselors will need to reach out to their campus assigned Advanced Academic Specialist.
