Tips for Using Transition Bell Ringers
Identify what are the self advocacy instruction needs for the students that you are serving.
Utilize the pre/post observation and student self assessment to identify growth through the use of the Bell Ringers
Have students keep a bell ringer journal to store their responses.
Introduce the question, and any unfamiliar vocabulary that students may need direction around.
Allow time for self reflection for students
Allow time for discussion as a group
Provide the opportunity of next steps for each student.Â
