Vacancy for a Youth, Children & Family Enabler for the Sheffield URC Team Pastorate

The main vision of the work is to offer leadership and guidance to churches for their ministry with children, families and young people in several churches.

The postholder will identify opportunities to engage with children, families and young people in some areas, and will help to develop existing work in other areas.

A small proportion of the role involves being part of the Yorkshire Synod WILDERNESS team to deliver a central program.

This is a flexible post with office space available at Central URC in Sheffield. Home working will also be considered.

The post holder must have the ability to travel to churches within the Sheffield Group.
When appropriate, the post holder will be expected to travel to the Yorkshire Synod offices in Morley, Leeds.

Up to 28 hours per week including some evenings and weekends.

Fixed term 4 years. The post is subject to a 6-month probationary period and an annual appraisal process.

Salary: £25,419 to £30,095 (pro-rata) depending upon qualifications and experience.
