Celebrations

While re-teaching and addressing problem behaviors is important, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports also emphasizes acknowledging students for meeting behavioral expectations. This page highlights Parkview's efforts to celebrate our school's successes.

2016-17 School Wide Celebrations:

Weekly Acknowledgements:

Every week a student from each classroom is chosen based upon their demonstration of Parkview Pride. Their name is announced during Monday morning announcements and they get to pick a reward such as sitting at a decorated lunch table with friends, being first in the lunch line, community prize, etc...

Traveling Bullpup:

    • There is only one student chosen per grade level (4k – 5th) per week. The student chosen is one who has gone above and beyond or someone who has really turned themselves around by making good choices.

    • Students will find the "You've Been Bullpup-ed" sign on their front porch upon arriving home from school on Fridays. It will remain at their home for one week.

    • Parents have the option of taking a picture of their child with the sign which will be shown during the announcements the following Monday.

    • Please email pictures no later than Sunday evening to Mrs. Parmenter kparmenter@cedarburg.k12.wi.us

    • Parent volunteers will pick up (Thursday) and drop off (Friday) signs weekly.

    • You do not need to do anything but share the PARKVIEW PRIDE!
