What is the Dads' Club?

The Parkview Dads' Club was created in 2008.  It was started as a way to get dads more involved in their child's elementary school.  We had started with an initiative that put document cameras and projectors in every classroom.  From there, we created our Parkview Trails, put playground line on our blacktop, cleaned and committed a landscaping service for the Ben Kin Center(our nature classroom), we run a Pancake breakfast in the beginning of every school year, we staff Mom's Night Out events, and run the school favorite Spooktacular every October.  The money raised went to buying 5 iPads, 15 chromebooks with a cart, and a beautiful shelving unit in the music room.

What is required if I join?

Emails will be the main source of communication from our club.  Our director will simply send out an email with a request, and if you can commit to it, respond and show up.  Easy as that.

Are there any membership dues?

It costs nothing to belong to our club.  Once you join, we will give you a bright orange Dads' Club t-shirt that you should wear at all Dads' Club events.
